Gladstone starts construction of large-scale high-purity aluminium refinery

On 3 September, Alpha HPA announced the official groundbreaking of its Gladstone project, marking the full commencement of the second

 phase of construction. This important milestone not only highlights the company's ambition in the aluminium processing field, but also signals

that the construction of the project will accelerate in the coming period, bringing more high-quality and high-efficiency products to the global 

aluminium materials market.

According to the company's Managing Director, Rimas Kairaitis, Alpha HPA's Stage 2 (10 hectare) Phase 1 project has officially commenced 

construction and has secured significant funding support. The funds, which include A$400 million in Australian Government debt financing 

and A$180 million in equity raising, provide solid financial security for the project to move forward, and Rimas Kairaitis said the funds will 

be used to support the full development of the second phase, ensuring that the project can be completed on time, with the right quality

 and in the right quantities.

Once the plant is fully operational, it will have an annual capacity of more than 10,000 tonnes of high-purity aluminium products. This increase

 in production capacity will greatly satisfy the demand for high quality aluminium in the global market, especially in high-tech fields such as 

aerospace, semiconductor, electronics and medical. High purity aluminium is an indispensable key material in these fields due to its excellent 

performance and wide range of application prospects. Alpha HPA's Gladstone project has been crafted to meet this market demand.
